Under KKDİK, companies registering the same substance are required to share data and make a joint submission within the Substance Information Exchange Forum (SIEF). This process can reveal to your competitors which substances you work with, your tonnage band and your market interest. By appointing a Third-Party Representative, you can keep your company's identity confidential during SIEF and data-sharing negotiations.
How is this different from an Only Representative?
An Only Representative assumes the registration obligation of a foreign manufacturer; a Third-Party Representative, by contrast, represents you behind the scenes in SIEF/data-sharing processes while the registration obligation remains with you. Manufacturers and importers established in Turkey can also benefit from this service.
Our Scope
- Conducting SIEF correspondence and meetings on your behalf
- Data-sharing and cost-sharing negotiations (LoA negotiations)
- Coordinating the joint submission with the lead registrant
- Contractual and operational protection of identity confidentiality
- Integrating negotiation outcomes into your registration strategy
